Cheshire Newborn Photography

From Motorcycles To Motherhood...

My route into becoming a newborn photographer was somewhat unusual, to say the least! My interest in photography began when I studied Art & Media at college and then university, but my professional experience started when I founded Women Riders World Relay, the largest motorcycle relay in the world.

A few months after having the idea, I found myself in the Mojave desert in America, working with Google on a documentary about it, which now has over 5 million views on YouTube. I quickly found myself working on many photoshoots, for some of the biggest global news outlets, alongside their industry leading photographers.

I developed a genuine passion for telling stories through photography and videography and the importance of capturing life’s “moments” in high-quality, (something we take for granted with todays smart phones). How many pictures on your phone are of a quality that you could hang on your wall for decades and years later they’d still look great and feel timeless?

Fast-forward five years and I was hanging up my helmet (temporarily) because I was pregnant. Not wanting to repeat the mistakes I’d made on the relay, of not capturing the special moments, I began training in Newborn, Maternity, Children and Family Photography.

More importantly than capturing unique, timeless photos of your newborn, I am newborn, child and adult first aid trained for your peace of mind. Rest assured your little one is in safe, soothing hands and that your photo session will be led by them, not the clock!
